Alcohol addiction hypnotherapy
Do you drink for pleasure? Or do you drink because, for whatever reason, it’s a way to cope?
It’s not always easy to notice the turning point — when alcohol goes from being a part of your social life to an emotional support which shapes your whole life.
If you’re worried about your drinking habits, hypnotherapy for alcohol addiction is one of the best ways to deal with it.
Whether you want to reduce your drinking, or stop altogether, this is your chance to take control of the alcohol habit.
Commitment to change is the first step towards a happier life. It costs £75 for an initial no-pressure meeting. Are you ready to take that first step?
Hypnotherapy and mind coaching for drinking
Like smoking and drugs, alcohol dependency usually stems from underlying issues. It’s a way of self-medicating.
The trouble is, no matter how much you drink, the issue is still there. It’s fuelling the addiction.
Hypnosis allows you to identify the root of the problem, and mind coaching deals with it permanently. It retrains the mind to change your thinking about alcohol.
So far, the combination of hypnotherapy and mind coaching has worked for more than 8,000 people. It will work for you too. Here’s why:
- Hypnosis aims to break the addiction at its source
- Mind coaching gives you tools and techniques to resist cravings
- It becomes easier to resist alcohol
- You can change negative thoughts and behaviours associated with drinking
- You can take control of the habit
You have a choice. Stay as you are — or do something to change it. Can you imagine the relief?
Actually, don’t just imagine it. Book an initial 60-minute meeting to see how we get on together. It’s a positive decision and the first step towards a better future.
How hypnotherapy for alcohol addiction works
During hypnotherapy, I gently guide you into a state of deep relaxation and heightened focus. You’re awake, able to speak, and aware of your surroundings.
Because your conscious mind is quietened, you’re able to tap into the part of the brain where thoughts, emotions, and behaviours originate. You become open to positive suggestions to replace the unconscious thoughts which drive your alcohol dependency.
You have the power to change. It’s already within you. Hypnotherapy and mind coaching gives you access to that power.
Let’s do something to improve your life. Book an initial 60-minute meeting to see how we get on together. It’s a positive decision. You deserve to be happy.

FAQs
Generally, 4 to 6 sessions will usually be enough to change your habitual thought patterns. After that, I’m available to support you while you maintain the positive change.
Contrary to what you see on TV shows, it’s not dramatic. You’ll feel a sense of deep relaxation and heightened awareness. At no point will you lose control.
Your attention is so focused that it creates a comfortable detachment from your surroundings. It’s similar to the relaxation associated with sleep, although you won’t actually fall asleep. You’re conscious and in a state of intense concentration.
It’s this hyper-concentration which opens your mind to new ideas, suggestions, solutions to your problems and positive transformation.
You can be hypnotised — although the depth of the trance varies from person to person.
To gauge this, I’ll start by asking you to imagine a sensory experience which involves visualisation, touch, smell and taste. It helps me tailor the sessions so that they’ll work for you as an individual.
The depth of your hypnotic state makes no difference to its effectiveness. Your experience of hypnosis won’t be the same as someone else’s, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t worked.
The results will become obvious when you go back to your everyday life. You’ll start noticing constructive changes, resilience and a new resourcefulness to cope with difficulties.

No. There are lots of myths and misconceptions about hypnotherapy, most of them from stage hypnosis. The people on stage look as though they’re under a spell.
In fact, these people are probably somnambulists. They are chosen to be part of the show because they have good powers of visualisation and a tendency to sleepwalk. Also, they’re extroverts. They enjoy being on stage.
The aim of hypnotherapy is to empower you to realise you can change. We agree on a goal and I make positive suggestions to make sure you achieve it.
